OUR STORY
Our history is in finance and operations management. Our team has maintained Controllership and strategic CFO, COO duties including; preparation of monthly financial statements, cash management responsibilities, monitoring, and forecasting industry trends, preparation of business plans, conducting due diligence for M&A opportunities, negotiating contracts, and analyzing P & L performance.
We have experience in Lean Six Sigma practices and have trained and fostered high-performance teams to obtain a performance work culture.
Leading these collaborative teams through root cause analysis, utilizing DMAIC and Lean methodologies to proactively enhance performance, emphasizing team collaboration and continuous improvement with financial control.
We are results-oriented with a focus on delivering improved profitability and superior customer service through process optimization and high product quality, resulting in increased cash flow, increased revenues, and reduced costs. We have designed and implemented ERP systems for; point of sale, CRM, marketing, and manufacturing, including MRP, inventory control, distribution, competitive bidding, and financial reporting. Additionally, we have redesigned manufacturing and distribution systems and facilities with high variation in processes to improve capacity and yield while reducing costs by over 80%.

Jon Colen
Founder & CEO
Mr. Colen is adept at turn-around and growth activities, including acquisition evaluations, cash flow management, credit line negotiations, improving information systems with integration into processes, and reforming organizational structure, compensation arrangements, and debt. Skilled in the evaluation of current practices, generating innovative solutions, and implementing sustainable process improvement initiatives for increased revenues and profit margins.
Prior to starting ASKT Consulting, Mr. Colen served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operational Officer for large and small start-up companies in Texas and California. Mr. Colen established their accounting, human resource, information technology departments, and lean six sigma programs while conducting due diligence for additional facilities and implementation of their information systems and enterprise resource platform ERP.
Mr. Colen has served in varying capacities, as a c-level executive, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and Director of Sales, in organizations varying in size from zero in revenue to over three hundred million.
Mr. Colen is a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and uses these toolsets to develop organizations into high-performing, cost-efficient, collaborative environments. Mr. Colen utilizes Lean Six Sigma to diagnose and solve complex business problems, including utilizing a full SIPOC analysis to determine efficiency baselines. Analyzing this information to assess root cause issues to systemic challenges and implementing long-term sustainable solutions to restructure information systems and operational processes into an integrated lean environment.
Mr. Colen has designed and created sales, accounting, and operational systems and process improvements, including enhancements to; percent complete, project, job, ABC, and absorption costing systems, cost volume profit analysis, complex inventory systems with multiple inventory valuation methods, order fulfillment, document control, manufacturing router, and BOM components, CRM systems, project management, and POS systems.
Mr. Colen has twenty years of experience across multiple industries and holds a BSBA in Finance and an MBA, with a focus on Global Strategy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
